In reflecting on this topic, I'm reminded that in life we must "pick our battles". I realize that "spiritual" and battle may appear as an odd choice- as spiritual is associated with peace - however, there are times when we must take a stand.
A Revolution is a turn - or moving away from what has been, a sudden change. Think back in history - true revolution occurred when it was necessary to force us to evolve - without revolution, evolution would not have happened.

The declaration of independence in 1776 forced a revolution that created the evolution of our country.

Think about your own life - are you in Revolution or Evolution? This months meditation will address this.
Today, we are in the greatest spiritual evolution of our time. Our Industrial, subsequent computer and tech revolution has sparked a frenzy in technology never before seen. Today we connect instantly with devices. We are evolving into a world where personal spiritual connection is more important than ever to keep us grounded with our world. Phony scams are becoming more rampant, and to ferret this out we must be authentic ourselves. Remember that like attracts like! Our new modes of communication make it vital that we be authentic and this can only occur if we align ourselves spiritually. On another note:

Did you know that July is named after Julius Caesar? Among other things, he was known for revolutionizing the Roman Empire.

A few idea on personal evolution for this month:

1 - Take a few minutes a day to give up control - sitting on a bench and listening to the world is powerful. Uh, and not on your ipod or cell, canned nature doesn't count.
2 - Say yes to connecting with others - go out and play!
3 - Do short meditations daily - something - remember to grow yourself spiritually! (All our meditations are around 5 minutes in length.) Try our Magnetizing one!
4 - Download this months' free meditation.
5 - Take a few minutes on July 4th to be grateful for the community we call America.
6 - Determine: Are you in Revolution or Evolution? Both are okay. This will help you realize your next step.
"Tori is such an amazing light. I had given up hope on ever being understood. I rarely feel that people "get" me. Tori got me completely and I did not have to speak a word. She showed me the possibility that what I've been searching for my entire life exists. She exhausted my futility and affirmed my faith. For the first time in my life I was given permission to choose to leave this place. Tori assured me that it was okay if I chose death. I knew she spoke the voice of Source. Absolute Truth.

I was empowered to make a choice. Since I didn't care to live for me, I found reason in living for others. Life now has purpose. Tori gave me so much life, love and light! I am forever grateful."
It is doubtful that Betsy Ross consulted a color glossary when choosing the colors of the American Flag. The flag, like our understanding of energy, has evolved over time.

The color Red gives orders, it doesn't take them. Red is in charge and the "Source" of all power. It is related to the first chakra and therefore rooted to the land or the physical.
White deflects and takes nothing personally and, ironically, while it can be seen as clean and pure it is also alone and isolated. It's seeming lack of care can make it appear aloof and superior when, instead, it simply stands neutral. And Blue - Navy Blue.
I love to call Navy the color of the creative conformist. This blue anchors emotions if one is upset as it lends a mature calm to communication. Navy represents truth that has been well thought out before being communicated. It symbolizes trustworthiness and honesty. It conveys unified authority. There is no mistake that during the 1970's and into the 1980's the corporate "color" was navy.

Are you seeing a picture emerging?

First, the rashness of Red, conveying strength and courage, with white to keep a detached authority followed by Navy, the idea that united we stand in trust and truth.

These colors symbolize courage, authority and freedom, and began a journey of energy that America has carried since the day our first flag hung outside of George Washington's headquarters on January 1, 1776.
