Brexit and America – Two Nations Now Both Cancer – The Astrological Vote for Independence
Here I am working on my book with (of course) my British publisher and thinking about the recent vote in the UK to leave the EU.
As many of you know I like to look beyond the conversation of right and wrong…

I was pulled to write a blog about it. However every spiritual leader is saying the same thing – stand together in peace – don’t let fear run you. And I agree, so it seemed moot to repeat what they said…
Then I glanced at the calendar. July 4th is coming up… wait.
On July 4, 1776 the declaration of independence in America was written.
On June 23, 2016, the British voted to be independent.
I knew America was the zodiac sign of Cancer, but then I got chills. The dates were close… could the British have just voted to be Cancerian too..?
The British just gave themselves a new zodiac sign: Cancer. But it doesn’t stop there.
I ran the astrological charts of both countries now share the same moon sign too!
Both America and the UK are sun in Cancer, and also share the moon in Aquarius. On the surface, Cancer is the homebody, and takes great pleasure in their home and family heritage. They support causes that they identify with and are deeply caring people. To a Cancer, home is everything.
What is Moon in Aquarius?
Aquarians are the humanitarians of the zodiac. Moon rules the emotions and would you be surprised if I told you that Moon Aquarius people are, well… different. They do have a bit of an ego, love to stand out and can be perceived by some as unreliable.
Are you seeing a trend here? There are powerful similarities between these two nations and with this vote they are aligning more.
I would certainly love to hear from some of you out there who are astrologers. What have you found?
I went ahead and pulled a Chakra Wisdom Oracle Card for this most recent event: The Brexit vote.
The card I just pulled is the Enlightenment card.
The quote from the card is: if I seek peace I must embrace my fears.
The Character in the Fable is Topaz, a healer, but he is on his way to take a rest and seek wise counsel with the Great Servant. In the fable he pauses frequently as people, fearful, ask his advice, which he lovingly offers as he continues forward. He has a destination.
This is now indeed the time to reflect and plan.

As I’m one those Brexit Brits of a certain age I certainly empathise with your blog.
We are now independent again and able to control our own destiny.
Yes it will be tough but in time it will be the best decision. As they say time is a healer. The US must have struggled when they fought for Independence all those centuries ago. There must have been great uncertainty but they had a dream and the wisdom to see a long term plan not a short term fix.
Life is all about change and opportunity and I for one will embrace it like an old friend that you haven’t seen for years. It will be okay I know it you know it the Great Servant knows it too.

Liberty! Liberty is the goal and liberty must be guarded, defended and fought for on a personal as well as collective level. I agree freedom is not free for it is slave mentality..it is granted or not. Liberty is a birthright. Thanks for your writing! I am not an astrologer but Brexit was a victory! On soo many levels.
The future is a little bit scary but that is what suits us best. It brings out the best in us and we shine!
